The United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) and the Business Transformation Agency
(BTA) would like to announce the 2008 AFRICOM/BTA Business Innovation Exposition.
The 2008 AFRICOM/BTA Business Innovation Exposition objectives are to:
- Inform industry about AFRICOM
- Engage those organizations that develop and provide future capabilities
- Expose AFRICOM to industry capabilities
AFRICOM continues to grow and develop capacity on its path toward becoming the newest
Unified Command. AFRICOM and BTA are partnering in this event to offer an opportunity
to further the understanding of work being done in Africa and to discuss potential
opportunities to collaborate to make a difference on the continent of Africa. Spend
several days with the people who make things happen in this command to:
- Learn about AFRICOM through briefings from the staff, to include the Deputies to
the Commander, Ambassador Mary C. Yates and Vice Admiral Bob Moeller
- Meet with numerous key individuals from the AFRICOM staff
- Display and discuss your company’s technology and intellectual capital on work in
Africa and in support of the US Department of Defense and other US government agencies
