DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) on behalf of the Spectrum Directorate of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Networks and Information Integration (ASD/NII), E3 promulgates the responsibilities in DoDD 3222.3 to promote communication, coordination, commonality, and synergy among the DoD Components for E3 related matters. DoD E3 provides an information exchange forum for DoD, Federal Government, and Industry E3 engineering and spectrum management professionals to address E3 and spectrum policy, operational doctrine, EMC standardization, education, emerging technologies, test and evaluation, and other matters relevant to the success of DoD's mission.
